Slugs and Snails projects

Time for another great release by Beccy Muir.

This time it's an adorable set of photo-polymer stamps called 'Slugs and Snails'.  You can have a great deal of fun with these cut images! You can find the Slugs and Snails stamps along with many others in Beccy's Shop. Please take time to visit Beccy's Place blog to see what amazing creations the rest of the design team have created.

If you have any questions about how I created any of my cards please feel free to ask. All three cards were stamped with the images and words from the 'Slugs and Snail' set and coloured with watercolours. They were cut out and mounted as shown. Lots of different dies were used in all three cards. On the first and third card I used the splatter technique in the backgrounds.
Really had fun working with these image!!!!

My Neighbourhood set

Happy New Year to everyone! Hope this year will be a happy and peaceful one for all. Time to share a new digital set of stamps from Beccy Muir. This incredible useful and versatile set is called 'My Neighbourhood' and come with lots of great images you can use on their own or combined like I have done.

For my card, I combined the church, shrubs and the balloon  ( from My Neighbourhood set) to created my scene. The scene was coloured with alcohol markers. I used a Tattered lace die for the backing and a Crafter's companion embossing folder for the background. The blue card I bought from The Works and it's great to using on the Scan and cut machine.

The is so much you can do with this set. Find more inspiration from the rest of the DT on Beccy's Place blog.

My first box frame

Made some time to play in my craft room today. This is my first box frame and I am pleased with it. The background is a card from Hunkydory. The wooden letters are from The Works in Royston, which have been painted and edges with chalk ink. The letters have a really lovely shimmer as I used Imagination crafts starlight paints. The key, heart and bird die is from Sizzix and have been layered multiple times to create depth.

Really hoping that the people it's made for will like it and not find it too simple.

The year started with an unexpected trip to the vet yesterday. Skipper got trodden on accidentally :(
She is ok but was really 'High' on the pain meds!!! lol  It was so funny to watch. :)

Hope the rest of the year will be a peaceful one!!!!

Sugar and Spice

Can you believe just how close we are to Christmas. If you are like me and have not really started on your cards as yet, then this beautiful 'Sugar and Spice' photopolymer stamp set by Beccy Muir is a must have. The images are adorable and very easy to colour, so you can have a bunch done in no time.

My first card, I stamped the large image from the 'Sugar and Spice' stamp set and coloured it with water soluble pencils. Then sprayed it with a layer of glitter. The  blue background layer was make with stencils, embossing folder and pastels. The yellow layer was created by stamping with a gold paint and then adding various shades of yellow inks.

The second card was simple. I stamped the images on a white card and coloured them. The cut two windows out of the blue card layered it. Added some snowflakes with glitter paint using a stencil. The sentiment and both images are from the 'Sugar and Spice' stamp set.

Hope you visit Beccy's Place Blog for more inspiration.

Peace and Joy

Time for a look at another new digital set by Beccy Muir, this one is called 'Peace and Joy'. As with all the digital sets from Beccy Muir, you get the black and white images as well as the coloured ones in the set, along with sentiments.

For my first card I used the black and white image from the Peace and Joy digital set and printed it on white card. The sentiment was also printed onto white card. The image was coloured with pencils and layered onto a painted and embossed background.

The second card I used the pre-painted images and flipped on and added the sentiment. They were then printed and layered onto the background. It's a really easy card to make if you are in a hurry. Or like me you have not made your Christmas cards as yet. :)

Do visit Beccy's Place blog for more inspiration and you will find this stamp set and many more in her SHOP.

Aussie Christmas clear stamp set

Beccy Muir has once again designed some super fun clear photo-polymer stamps for Christmas. This set, 'Aussie Christmas' , has such cute images and fun sentiments. You can find this stamp set and more on Beccy Muir's shop

In the first card ,I used the kangaroo image from the Aussie Christmas set. The image was stamped in black and coloured with pencils. The sentiment is also from the Aussie Christmas set. The background layer was made by rubbing a red peal paint through a stencil. Once it was dry it was embossed with a leaf embossing folder. The ribbons were added after and layered onto the white card.

My second card I tried something a bit different. I stamped and coloured the image and sentiment (Aussie Christmas stamp set) and then used a glitter paste and a star stencil to add a sparkly layer over the image. In real life is looks really interesting. The image was added to patter paper and edges inked with brown ink. Added the stars for some extra sparkle. :)

Hope you like the card and do take a few minutes to check Beccy's Blog for more inspiration.

Magnolias Stamp set hanger

This is a very different project from the previous two using the Magnolias stamp set by Beccy Muir. You can find the Magnolias stamp set on Beccy Place shop and more inspiration on Beccy Muir's blog.

This little mixed media hanger was a lot of fun to make. The wooden heart came from The Works in Royston. The fist layer was done by spraying several colours of spray inks onto the primed wood. Once dried different pastes and stencils were used to decorate it. The sentiment is a stencil using screen printing ink. One of the beautiful image from the Magnolias stamp set was stamped and coloured  with water colours and cut out.

Thanks for the visit.

Magnolias stamp set

Time to showcase the stunning new set of photo polymer stamps from Beccy Muir. These beautiful  images are from the set called ' Magnolias'. You will love stamping and colouring the images in this set and you can find it in Beccy's Place shop. There are more inspiration on Beccy's place blog

These are two projects I have made with the 'Magnolia' stamp set. The first one is a large 8x8 card. The background was done with and embossing folder and various inks and embossing powder. The large die cut is a Tattered lace die. The beautiful magnolia image was stamped and coloured with water colours. Love how it stands out against the green.

The second card was a bit more simple. I stamped two of the flower images from the Magnolias set onto white card. I coloured the flowers and backgrounds with watercolours and layered them onto a pattern paper and attached to the card base.

Thanks for looking.
